Motions

6a

Motion in the name of Councillor Larry O'Toole

That this committee instruct Dublin City Council to engage with An Garda Siochana and other relevant agencies to resolve to the issue of the illegal landfill on the open ground adjacent to Moatview/Belcamp estates.

Minutes:

Order: Report to Councillor

6b

Motion in the name of Councillor Deirdre Heney

That consideration be given to the provision, on a pilot basis, of a bike parking covered in type shelter close to end of cycle track/Clontarf DART station for commuters who cycle as far as Clontarf DART Station as the provision of secure bike parking in the station is proving insufficient for the numerous commuters using the DART.

Minutes:

Order: Report to Councillor

6c

Motion in the name of Councillor Alison Gilliland

That the North Central Area Committee recognises the ongoing and future housing/apartment and school development in the Belmayne/Parkside/New Priory area bounded by Parkside Boulevard, Clare Hall Ave and the Malahide Rd. Given this substantial development the Area Committee requests that an on the ground audit be carried out to identify car use, parking needs and availability, including school drop-off needs, within this area with a view to drawing up a comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure pedestrian safety, particularly that of school going children and their parents, and to minimise internal traffic tensions within the community.

Minutes:

Order: Refer to Planning SPC

6d

Motion in the name of Councillor Naoise O'Muirí

That the falling lamp-post outside No 10 St Annes Drive, Raheny, be replaced as a matter of urgency as it is a potential hazard for local residents.
