(1) Motion in the name of Councillor John Lyons The Area Committee calls for a strategic plan for Ellenfield Park: such a strategic approach to the park should include an inspection of the park's facilities, particularly the playground facilities, and a schedule for any repair works required; consideration of regular community events; the potential for new facilities such as a cafe; and consideration of an alternative location for the installation of the recently proposed ball wall.

(2) Motion in the name of Councillor John Lyons The North Central Area Committee calls for a comprehensive landscaping plan for the linear park running parallel to St. Donagh's Road Donaghmede to enhance the local environmental, safety and aesthetic aspects of this part of the community.

(3) Motion in the name of Councillor Deirdre Heney That this Area Committee agree that a scheme of 1 hour paid parking be introduced along the stretch in Marino Mart, Fairview, fronting shops/business premises from Haverty Road to Malahide Road from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday, as these small local businesses have been hugely negatively impacted upon over the past two years during the construction of the C2CC and need the support of Dublin City Council at this time.

(4) Motion in the name of Councillor Patricia Roe This area committee agrees to provide a DCC Christmas tree on the Malahide Road, located beside the church at the Malahide Rd, Collins Ave East junction.

(5) Motion in the Name of Councillor John Lyons This Area Committee reaffirms its commitment to deliver a new contemporary arts venue for the North Central Area, and calls on the City Council executive to immediately establish a working group with a remit to develop a vision and comprehensive plan for the creation and management of the new arts venue.
