Members were requested to submit any questions they might have by email in advance of the meeting, and there was also a facility to ask questions at the meeting by emailing and texting.

Members recommended that the application be rejected unless there were serious alterations to the proposed development. Members were particularly concerned about the sustainability of the proposed development, its impact on traffic congestion in the area and the lack of community facilities and school places in the area. There were also concerns expressed about open space provision, density and mix of bedroom types and tenure. They also recommended that the Part V dwellingsbe dispersed throughout and if this was not possible that they be allocated to Block B which had green space directly outside.
