That this area committee rejects the findings of the "Report of the assessment into new and updated evidence into the cause of the fire at the Stardust, Artane, Dublin on 14th February 1981" by retired judge Pat McCartan and supports the ongoing quest of the families of the victims and survivors for a full inquiry

Acknowledging the recent threat of withdrawal of the 27B/17A Dublin Bus service from Beaumont Hospital due to drivers’ ongoing concerns  regarding the safety of the access road and turning point, this area committee calls on the city council to work in consultation with the Dublin Bus drivers, their trade unions and Dublin Bus management to ensure that all driver safety concerns are addressed with a redesign of the road so that all workers and visitors to Beamount Hospital can be assured that the public transport passage to and from the hospital is the safest one possible.

Further to a long list of complaints can Aer Rianta be invited to come to an Area Committee Meeting and outline how much longer it will take to complete the works that necessitate the diversion of aircraft from the main runway.
