Dublin City Council is legally obliged to hold an Annual Budget Meeting. The annual budget is debated and agreed and the ‘Annual Rate on Valuation’ for Property Rates is also adopted at this meeting. This meeting is held in late November or early December (within a period prescribed by the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government).
