That the members of this Committee support the recommendations of the Seanad Public Consultation Committee to afford the National Anthem (Amhrán na bhFiann) legislative protection and recognition, of its English version, Irish version, Music and Sign Language version, reflecting the submissions from the public to the committee and the views expressed therein, as well as those expressed by the vast majority contributors at the recent public consultation on the Status, Treatment and Use of the National Anthem.
Rationale: Seanad Committee voting on legislative protection tomorrow.
