Agenda and minutes

It was proposed by Councillor V Jackson and seconded by Councillor M Flynn “That Dublin City Council notes the contents of Report No 237/2018”. The motion was put and carried.

Following a brief outline of the procedures, four amendments to this report were put forward by the following :-

·         Councillors R McGinley and S McGrattan

·         The Fine Gael Group

·         The Labour Group

·         The Fianna Fail Group

Full details of all the amendments can be found in Appendix A to these minutes. The first amendment to the report, submitted by Councillors R McGinley and S McGrattan, was put to the meeting and carried - “That Dublin City Council determines, in accordance of the provisions of Section 20 of the Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended), that the basic rate of local property tax should stand varied downwards by 15% for 2019 in respect of relevant residential properties situated in the administrative area of Dublin City Council.”

All other amendments were them deemed to have fallen.
