New Standing Orders, adopted May 2021. Standing Order 48 deals with the General Provisions Relating to Committees and relevant JPC Committees, who are now asked to agree the following:
A standard length of time for meetings, to be approved by a majority of Members. Option to extend by a maximum of 30 minutes with the agreement of a majority of Members present, to be taken no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled conclusion of the meeting.
Proactive and effective management of meetings, a maximum time for Agenda Items, and limited number/length of presentations.
