That this Committee calls on the Minister for Transport and Dublin Bus to train their drivers in basic first aid. This follows on from the untimely death of a local resident who choked to death on a 46A bus. The family, in particular Seamas’s daughters Joanna and Rachel are adamant that he could have been saved had the protocol for drivers included basic first aid training.
