Minutes: The following emergency motion was tabled; That this committee welcomes the establishment of a Government Tourism Task Force, and notes that it will, in conjunction with the guidance and advice of the HSE and the Chief Medical Officer, make recommendations regarding Covid-19 precautionary measures which will be required by inward travel by tourists and returning citizens. Furthermore, this committee agrees that the Task Force should include in its deliberations the examination of the practicalities, implications and ramifications of a legal requirement that visitors to Ireland or returning citizen from abroad must produce an up to date medical certificate confirming the holder is Covid-19 free. ORDER: Agreed.
