Community Safety Fora

Representatives of the 3 Community Safety Fora met the Steering group, and each other, on 26th May, to consider what is working/not working for them, what could be improved and how the Joint Policing Subcommittee can provide assistance in getting them represented and up and running once again.

It was agreed going forward that each fora should be represented by the Garda Siochána, Dublin City Council, The Drugs Task Force and a broad range of Business and Community groups and the South East Area office will work with them in the coming weeks to get that done.

It was also agreed to arrange another such meeting down the line to monitor and report the progress being made in re-convening all three fora.
