The members requested that a letter be forwarded to the Minister for Justice seeking the Minister to fill the existing vacancies within the Gardaí Síochana operating in the South Central area as a matter of urgency. · Antisocial activities at Bluebell and the Canal areas · Incident in the laneway at St. Pat’s Football grounds · Young children and teenagers causing antisocial issues outside the Spar shop and Burdock’s takeaway in Ballyfermot. · Serious drug dealing in Meath Street · Co-operation of the Gardaí requested in dealing with antisocial issues at the new Weaver Park

A.O.B. The date of next JPC meeting is Monday the 30th of April 2018
Minutes: The following issues were raised: - a) The members outlined their serious concerns with regard to the opening of the medically supervised centre at Merchant’s Quay. They stated that there was an over saturation of outreach, hubs and homeless units in the South West Inner City area. They queried how the Gardaí are to implement the legislation to deal with the antisocial measures around this area and requested that a letter be forwarded to the Minister for Health and Minister for Justice & Equality.
b) The Members queried the changes made to the Youth Diversion Programme in particular changes that will affect the CLAY and the Bru programme in Dublin 12.
