Minutes: It was proposed by Councillor Daithí Doolan and seconded by Councillor Larry O’Toole, Councillor Janice Boylan, Councillor Seámas McGrattan, Councillor Daniel Céitinn, Councillor Anthony Connaghan and Councillor Mícheál MacDonncha “That Dublin City Council determines, in accordance of the provisions of Section 20 of the Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended), that the basic rate of local property tax should stand varied downwards by 15% for 2021 in respect of relevant residential properties situated in the administrative area of Dublin City Council.” It was agreed to put all similar motions to a vote, therefore the motions by Sinn Féin, Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Independent Group were put to a vote and carried. Full details of this vote and the motions are in Appendix A. All other amendments were then deemed to have fallen. Copies of the other amendments submitted are contained in Appendix B.
