Motion in the name of Councillor David Costello. That this committee calls for the protection of jobs in the Dublin Industrial Estate and other industrial areas until such time as the impact of removing jobs from Finglas and Cabra has been fully assessed. Furthermore consideration should be given to making these sites denser employment hubs that are easily accessible by pedestrians and cyclists from the surrounding communities. (Current development plan allows from up to 30% of these sites to be developed as housing).

There is consistent litter at the point and there is nowhere for residents to put their litter. Residents have been requesting this for 6 years now.
